ATHLETES THAT CARE

Did you know that children placed in foster care often use a trash bag to transport their belongings from one home to the other? Also, the average child in foster care will make 7 moves. We want to provide a backpack to every child to help tell them they are not trash. They are important. No child ever wishes for the circumstances that leads to foster care. Let's show them that there are people who want to help -- even if it is in a small way. Please help Athletes That Care start ripples of change that can make a difference!

Over a 1,000 Bags

These guys have just packed our 1000th bag to donate!!! We distributed our first bags for Christmas 2016, and 2 years later we are about to deliver this batch to CPS to tip us over 1000 distributed since we began. Most have gone to Foster children so they do not have to move their belongings in trash bags!! It is about backpacks, but even more it is about providing dignity and starting ripples of change..... #nomoretrashbags!!!!!
